Instagram & Facebook Shops

Sell DIMBER Shop products directly through Instagram and Facebook — tagging, checkout flow, and social commerce best practices.

Your products show up where your fans already scroll — Instagram and Facebook.

DIMBER Shop products can appear inside Instagram and Facebook shopping surfaces, so fans can discover merch without leaving the platforms they already use every day. That shortens the path from seeing a product to tapping it, saving it, or buying it.

How the Integration Works

DIMBER syncs the product catalog from shop.dimber.co to Instagram Shops and Facebook Shops, which makes eligible products available for tagging and purchase across both platforms. When a product is live in the DIMBER Shop, it can also appear in the synced social catalog without a separate upload process.

Product availability and pricing stay in sync automatically, so you do not need to update listings manually across Instagram and Facebook.

Shop Setup

DIMBER manages the Meta Business Suite connection, catalog sync, and shop configuration centrally. You do not need to create or maintain a separate Meta shop for your artist account in order to sell approved DIMBER Shop products through Instagram and Facebook.

Artists with approved products are automatically included in the social shop sync.

Tagging Products in Posts & Stories

Use product tags when the merch is already part of the content so the shopping link feels natural instead of distracting. Once your products are synced, the tagging flow works much like any standard Instagram or Facebook shop post.

Create a post or story

Start creating content on Instagram or Facebook the same way you normally would. Use a photo, video, reel, or story where the merch is visible or clearly relevant to what you are sharing.

Tap Tag Products

Before publishing, choose the option to tag products in the post or story editor. This opens the connected shop catalog available to your account.

Search for your DIMBER Shop product

Type the product name to find the matching item in the synced catalog. Pick the product that matches the item shown in your content so the tag leads fans to the right listing.

Select and publish

Choose the product, place the tag where it fits best, and publish the post or story. The tag becomes a tappable shopping link that fans can open directly from the content.

Checkout Flow

Customers can complete checkout directly inside Instagram or Facebook where Meta supports in-app commerce, or they can be redirected to shop.dimber.co to finish the purchase. Both paths are supported, so the exact experience depends on how Meta surfaces the product to that customer.

Checkout availability depends on the customer’s region and Meta’s current commerce features.

Social Commerce Best Practices

  • Tag products in posts where the merch is visually relevant, not added as an afterthought.
  • Use stories for limited drops, restocks, and time-sensitive announcements.
  • Keep product images clean, bright, and well lit so items read clearly on mobile screens.
  • Link to shop.dimber.co in your bio as a fallback when in-app checkout is unavailable.
  • Respond to product-related DMs quickly while interest is still high.
