DSP Overview
See every platform DIMBER distributes to and understand how your music reaches 150+ stores worldwide
Get your music onto every platform that matters
DIMBER distributes your music to 150+ DSPs worldwide from a single release setup. That includes major global streaming services, African and regional platforms that matter to your audience, and niche stores that still drive discovery and revenue. Upload once, set your release, and DIMBER handles delivery across the network.
How DSP distribution works
After your release passes approval, DIMBER delivers your audio files, metadata, and artwork to each selected DSP. Each platform then processes that release on its own schedule, so availability does not go live everywhere at the exact same time.
Check delivery timeframes before you set a release date, especially if you need time for playlist pitching, pre-save campaigns, or coordinated launch plans.
Major platforms
- Spotify — The largest on-demand streaming platform for many independent artists, with strong playlist discovery and artist profile tools.
- Apple Music — A major subscription streaming platform with deep integration across Apple devices and a strong global listener base.
- YouTube Music — Connects your releases to YouTube's music ecosystem, where streaming and video discovery often overlap.
- Amazon Music — Reaches listeners across Amazon's subscription, device, and voice-driven music ecosystem.
- TIDAL — Known for premium audio positioning and a listener base that actively follows artist releases.
- Deezer — A long-running global streaming service with strong reach in multiple international markets.
African & regional platforms
African and regional DSPs matter if you want distribution that matches where your listeners actually are, not just where the biggest global headlines come from. For many DIMBER artists and labels, these platforms help close the gap between global availability and local audience reach.
- Boomplay — One of the most important streaming platforms across African markets, with strong mobile-first adoption.
- Audiomack — Widely used for music discovery, especially across emerging scenes and fan communities.
- Mdundo — Built for markets where mobile access, downloads, and regional reach still matter.
- Spinlet — A regional music platform with relevance across parts of the African digital music landscape.
- Others — DIMBER also supports additional regional outlets as distribution options expand.
See African & regional DSPs for a closer look at the platforms that matter most for DIMBER's Kenyan and African user base.
