AI-Generated Content Policy
DIMBER does not distribute AI-generated music. Zero tolerance — no exceptions, no gray areas.
DIMBER has zero tolerance for AI-generated music
DIMBER does not distribute AI-generated music in any form. This policy may be revisited in the future, but until then, no AI-generated audio will be accepted.
What You Cannot Distribute
DIMBER rejects any release that includes AI-generated audio. Licensing does not change that rule.
- AI-generated music — Music that is wholly or partially generated by AI is not accepted, regardless of licensing.
- AI voice cloning or impersonation — Synthesizing or replicating any voice using AI is prohibited.
- AI-assisted compositions — Music where AI generated melodies, lyrics, chord progressions, or arrangements is prohibited.
- Sped-up, slowed, or reverbed AI tracks — Derivative versions of AI-generated audio are also prohibited.
AI voice cloning of identifiable artists is not a gray area. It's prohibited. DIMBER will reject it, and DSPs will remove it.
AI-generated artwork is acceptable. Cover art created with AI image generators is permitted, provided it meets DIMBER's standard artwork requirements for resolution, format, and metadata accuracy.
How DIMBER detects AI content
DIMBER's QC team reviews every release before delivery. That review includes checks for AI-generated audio and AI-cloned vocals.
DIMBER also uses detection tools to identify synthetic content and flag suspicious submissions for further review. If DIMBER detects AI content in any part of a release, the release is rejected immediately.
If you are unsure whether your content qualifies as AI-generated, do not upload it. Contact DIMBER support before submitting.
