Getting StartedThe DIMBER Manifesto

The DIMBER Manifesto

Our rebellion against gatekeepers. We build our own gates — then we burn them down.

Music has no gatekeepers. We just prove it.

We build our own gates. Then we burn them down.

DIMBER was not built to beg for access. It was built for artists and labels who are done waiting for approval from people with no vision and no nerve. This is not a marketing page. It is a line in the sand.

We are not a label in the old sense. We are a collective. A boutique umbrella for artists who refuse to be boxed, categorized, or tamed. We know the difference between noise and legacy. We only amplify the latter.

The problem we're solving

The music industry still runs on locked doors. A small group decides who gets heard, who gets funded, and who gets taken seriously. Too many artists spend years building something real, only to get offered a contract that strips their rights, buries their leverage, and calls it opportunity.

The old model survives by making artists feel small. Sign here. Give up control. Be grateful for the chance. That system is broken. It rewards caution, committee decisions, and corporate cowardice. The big labels play it safe. We play to win.

DIMBER exists for artists and labels who see the game clearly and refuse to play it on someone else's terms. We move fast. We trust vision. We use technology, discipline, and direct relationships to build momentum without asking permission.

Our principles

Distribution should be a door, not a wall.
Access to global platforms should not require selling your soul. If your music is ready, your path to 150+ DSPs should be clear, professional, and built to move.

We don't follow trends. We architect movements.
DIMBER is for artists who define eras, not chase them. We back work with identity, conviction, and staying power.

Technology is our weapon. Innovation is our edge.
DDEX, automated QC, and metadata discipline are not buzzwords here. They are how we level the playing field, reduce friction, and keep artists in control from release day forward.

Risk? That's just another word for opportunity.
We are not scared of work the industry calls too niche, too early, or too bold. Safe bets make forgettable catalogs. Vision builds legacy.

Your rights are your rights.
No catalog grabs. No clawback clauses. No fine print theft dressed up as partnership. Ownership matters, and we treat it that way.

What we believe in

Rights stay with the artist.
Control should not disappear the moment momentum shows up. The work is yours. The rights stay yours.

Real KYC, not red tape.
Verification should protect the platform and the artist, not slow serious people down for no reason. We keep standards high without turning operations into bureaucracy.

Metadata discipline from day one.
Clean ISRCs, UPCs, and split sheets are not admin busywork. They are how releases stay trackable, payable, and professional across every platform.

QC on every release.
Every release needs loudness and platform-fit checks before launch. Sloppy delivery costs time, trust, and revenue.

Monthly payouts, not quarterly surprises.
Artists should not wait in the dark to understand what they earned. Clear reporting and regular payouts are the baseline, not a luxury.

DIMBER isn't for everyone

DIMBER isn't for everyone.

DIMBER is application-only, curated, and built for artists who take their craft and their business seriously. If you want a distributor that treats you like a transaction, there are plenty. If you want a collective that treats you like a partner, keep reading.

We do not promise guaranteed outcomes. We do not hand-hold people who refuse to move. We work with artists and labels willing to bet on themselves, push boundaries, and build something that matters.
