Fulfillment & Shipping

Understand how made-to-order fulfillment works — production timelines, international shipping, returns, and order tracking.

You know exactly when orders ship and how to handle customer questions.

DIMBER merch is fulfilled after each order is placed, so delivery timelines always include both production time and shipping time. Use this page to set clear expectations around when orders go out, what customers should expect for domestic and international delivery, and how to respond when issues come up.

How Fulfillment Works

DIMBER merch uses a made-to-order, print-on-demand model. Every order is produced after it is placed, which means items are not pre-printed, stocked, or pulled from a warehouse shelf.

The fulfillment flow is straightforward: the order is received, the item is manufactured or printed, the finished product goes through a quality check, and then the order ships. That process reduces excess inventory, but it also means production time is part of the delivery timeline for every order.

Made-to-order fulfillment adds production time before shipping begins. When you set expectations with customers, use the combined timeline of production plus shipping, not shipping time alone.

Production Timelines

Production starts only after the order is submitted. Typical production times vary by product type:

  • Apparel — 2–5 business days
  • Accessories — 2–7 business days, depending on the item
  • Embroidered items — 3–7 business days

These timelines are averages, not guarantees. Production times can extend during high-volume periods when order volume increases across the network.

Holiday seasons, major launches, and promotional periods can extend production timelines beyond the usual averages. If you are planning a time-sensitive drop, build extra buffer into your customer messaging.

Shipping Timelines

Shipping begins only after production is complete. Once an order leaves production, delivery time depends on the destination and carrier service in that region.

Domestic shipments typically arrive within 2–5 business days after dispatch. International shipments usually take 7–21 business days after dispatch, depending on the destination country and local delivery conditions.

International delivery windows vary by country and can be affected by customs processing. A package may spend additional time in transit even after the carrier marks it as exported.

International Shipping

DIMBER Shop ships internationally, which makes it possible to serve customers outside your home market without separate regional inventory. International orders follow the same production workflow, but delivery expectations are usually broader than domestic orders.

  • Customs duties may apply — the recipient is responsible for any import duties, taxes, or local handling fees.
  • Some regions have longer delivery windows — remote destinations and countries with slower postal handoffs may take longer than the standard estimate.
  • Tracking may be limited — some countries provide fewer tracking updates after the package enters the local postal network.

Returns & Exchanges

Made-to-order products have a limited returns and exchanges policy because each item is produced specifically for that order. Customers should expect replacements for production issues, not open-ended returns for preference-based changes.

Defective or misprinted items are eligible for replacement when the customer contacts support within 14 days of delivery and includes photo evidence of the issue. Sizing exchanges are generally not offered, so point customers to sizing charts before they purchase. If a customer enters the wrong shipping address at checkout, that mistake is the customer's responsibility.

Returns and exchanges are limited for made-to-order merch. Replace defective or misprinted items reported within 14 days of delivery, but do not expect routine returns for sizing changes or incorrect customer-provided addresses.

Tracking Orders

Customers receive a tracking number by email as soon as the order ships. They can also check order status through the order page at shop.dimber.co.

If a customer says they never received a shipping notification, ask them to check their spam or junk folder before reporting the order as missing.
